Cecelia Bishop has bought 2 of our last 4 Band Booster t-shirts. I’ve heard some people ask if we are going to make another order. To help make this decision, I request two things:
1. If you’re willing to order & buy t-shirts for around $12 each and/or polo for around $25 dollars, please e-mail me; so, I can get an interest count
2. If you’d like to lead this effort, please e-mail me
Depending on how you look @ this, I have what I’d characterize as good news. After coordinating with Mr. Burke, it appears that there will be less band equipment for home games & competitions to move & setup. We’ll get a good feel for this @ our first home game this Fri, 9 Sep. If it’s true, then we won’t need as many equipment mover volunteers throughout the remainder of the marching band season. Please stay tunedJ
Based on the rest of the week, attached is the most current Excel spreadsheet with volunteers to include those that I’ve noted on Sign-Up Genius. We still need a few volunteer slots filled. Finally, our students REALLY NEED YOU! As most teenagers, they will NEVER admit this. Your VOLUNTEERISM is ESSENTIAL to THEIR SUCCESS!!! Additionally, they really do APPRECIATE seeing you @ their various events cheering for them. 7 After school @ Island Creek performance, 2:30-4:30pm; volunteer drivers needed to transport between Hayfield & Island Creek
8 rehearsals, 2:30-4:30pm

10 TAG DAY #1; NOTE: If your student is working TAG Days (8 am to 4 pm, Sat, 10 Sep/8 am to 12 pm, Sat 17 Sep), then they should be signed up with a group & have a designated parent driver. Please ask & confirm they have done so.

Band Booster Family,
First of all, congratulations! Hayfield beat South County in football this past Friday. Hopefully, this is a good sign for things to come this season;)
Secondly, school officially begins Tues, 6 Sep for our students. Now, the hard work and fun really begin: )
Thirdly, HELP HELP HELP! We need all the volunteers we can get for our “STAPLE PARTY” from 6 to 8 pm, Tues, 6 Sep to help prepare the 2,500 to 3,000 TAG Day packages for this coming Saturday, 10 Sep. Please come for even an hour if you can’t make the entire two hours. Meet in the Band Room. Remember, this is the #1 fundraiser for the Band Boosters & students! Erin Fitzsimmons is leading this with the help of Michelle Booth and Jocelyn Valdez.
NOTE: If your student is working TAG Days (8 am to 4 pm, Sat, 10 Sep/8 am to 12 pm, Sat 17 Sep), then they should be signed up with a group & have a designated parent driver. Please ask & confirm they have done so.
