HSS Band 2009-10.70 Memorial Day Parade!

Hi Band Boosters,
THANKS to all of you who have volunteered to help with the parade on Monday! The schedule for the day is now posted on the web site (and below).

Here's a summary:
  • 11am: Load buses and truck [volunteers welcome to help with this]
  • noon: Depart [Thanks to Dave Collins for driving the truck; we could use a second volunteer to ride 'shotgun' with Dave -- please let me know.]
  • chaperones (ride the bus): Schuler, Mack, Baetsen,Hess(4), Monaco, Monaco-Stevenson, [Dear Chaperones: Please wear a shirt that identifies you as from Hayfield -- a Hayfield Band shirt is best! Let me or Mr. Burke know if you need a shirt.]
  • water/snacks: Reed, Mack, Bell, Monaco
  • If you're able to send in a case of water on Monday, or a couple boxes of pop tarts or granola bars, please let me know so we can plan accordingly.
  • 5pm (approx) return to Hayfield - we'll unload the truck and put instruments away -- volunteers welcome for this as well.
This is such a great opportunity for Hayfield; I'm hoping for good weather (not too hot!) and a fun time for everyone! If you'd like more info about the route, the history, or more details about the parade, check out this web site: http://www.nationalmemorialdayparade.com/ (Note - there's a link from this web site where you can purchase a 2010 Memorial Day Parade T-shirt.)
