HSS Band 2009-19.25 Fruit Sale! Oakton Competition Saturday (10:45am report time)

It's Fruit Time, Band Families!
Order forms have been sent home with the students; you can start taking orders right now. See the band web site for all the details and info. (Fruit sales count toward the student accounts to help offset costs, especially the spring trip.)
It's also Competition Time!
We need some volunteers to help Saturday:
Bus Chaperones (12:15 - 6:30pm): Dottie Andrews, (need 2-3 more)
Uniforms (11:30-12:15): Dottie Andrews, (need 2 more)
Truck drivers: Dave Collins, Don Stevenson, Ralph Monaco
Equipment (load truck 11am-12p; unload truck at Oakton; help at performance; load truck; unload truck at Hayfield 6:30pm):
Mary Hess, Nick Milton, Dwayne Jones, Don, Dave, and Ralph (need a few more helpers; including helping at performance)

Oakton Invitational Marching Competition

October 17, 2009
Oakton High School. 2900 Sutton Road, Vienna, Va 22181

10:45am – Report to field. Rehearse

11:30am – Dress for competition

12:15am – Depart for Oakton High School

1:30pm – Warm up

2:30pm – Performance. Then watch other groups.

4:40pm – Awards at Oakton High School

5:30pm – Depart for Hayfield

6:30pm – Return to Hayfield

Stow away equipment and uniforms, then dismissed

Don't forget:

Black socks, marching shoes, t shirt, jeans, lunch, drinks, snack money, and a Superior Attitude!
