We Need You!

Good morning, Parents and Friends –

‘Tis the season…marching band season!

So much goes into the marching band program, and we couldn’t be successful without the help of all of our great parents and friends.  If you have the time/talent/tenacity, please consider supporting the band booster team.  The following people have volunteered to fill band booster officer positions:

President – Angie Tenne (Scott Good’s mom)

Vice-President – Lisa Warden (Sam’s mom)

Co-Treasurers – Teresa Brown (Olivia Leake’s mom) and Lori Graziano (Nick and Baby Matt’s mom)

Secretary – Rachel Hamilton (Andrew’s mom)

Fundraising Coordinator – Trina Estrada-Good (Scott Good’s other mom)

The board has been busy getting things going for band season, but we still need your help.  Here is a list of vacant positions.  Check them out and find the one that’s perfect for you and let us know!

·         Uniform Manager – Oversee the fitting of uniforms for the marching band during band camp.  Coordinate tailoring, storing, cleaning, and care for all uniforms.

·         Pit Crew Chief – Work with the Marching Band Parent Representative to coordinate pit crew volunteers for each marching band performance for home football games and marching band competitions.

·         Communications Coordinator – Someone who likes to spread the word!  This person will be our social media guru as well as serving as our media correspondent.

·         Marching Band Parent Representative – This person will be the parent liaison for the marching band at band booster meetings and planning sessions to ensure that the marching band students are represented and served equitably.

·         Band Parent Representative – This person will be the parent liaison for the concert band at band booster meetings and planning sessions to ensure that the concert band students are represented and served equitably.

·         Indoor Drumline Parent Representative – This person will be the parent liaison for the indoor drumline at band booster meetings and planning sessions to ensure that the indoor drumline students are represented and served equitably.

·         Jazz Band Parent Representative – This person will be the parent liaison for the jazz band at band booster meetings and planning sessions to ensure that the jazz band students are represented and served equitably.

·         Lead Chaperone – Work with the Marching Band Parent Representative to oversee and coordinate chaperones for marching band travel and for football games.

If you are able to fill any of these positions, we would LOVE to have your help!  Please feel free to contact me or any of the other band booster officers if you have questions or need further information.  Let’s help our kids have a great band year!

Thank you –

Angie
