Fwd: Hayfield Band Boosters (Message 37)--Booster Update

Greetings Boosters,

It has been a busy month for the band program.  I want to share a few of the highlights with you.

Drumline Competition, 9 February. Congratulations to the Hayfield Indoor Drumline for their second place showing at the Atlantic Indoor Association competition at Broad Run High School in Ashburn!   Also, the Drumline was promoted to the next competitive division due to the difficulty and complexity of this year's show.

Thanks to the Boosters who answered the call to support our Drumline.  Volunteers included:  John Hishta, truck driver; Mike Adams,
Paul Loyola, Simon and Kelley John, Yvette Schuler, Michelle Paxton, Kristi Baik, James and Sharon Fussell, and Nava Ezra

Recognition also goes to the members of the Hayfield battery who helped another drumline in a desperate moment as that group's tarp became unmanageable in the windy (and cold!) conditions.  Thanks to Michael Adams, Jonathan Baik, Philip Fussell, Patrick Hishta, Kenneth Perez, George Schuler, Kyle Stefanek, Harrison Woodbury, and Michael Valdez(former Hayfield Drumline member).  Way to go HAWKS!
