Hayfield Band Boosters (Message 35)--Band Booster Update

Greetings Boosters,
 
Volunteers Needed
We will begin cataloguing our new Marching Band Uniforms on Wednesday evening, 16 January.  I need 2 volunteers to assist.  If you can spare an hour or two, please sign up on Signup Genius. 
 
All District Weekend at Hayfield, 1-2 February.  Thanks to those who have stepped to support this even.  However, there are still open slots.  There is a critical need for a volunteer to support the Hospitality Suite on Friday, 1 Feb.  Please go to Signup Genius and let us know where you can help.
 
Please consider serving as an officer or leading a committee for the 2013-2014 school year.  If you are interested, please send me a note.   We have a couple of positions opening due to graduation.   We need your help to continue giving our kids the support they deserve. 
 
 Reminders
The Wind Ensemble will begin night rehearsals this week.  Night rehearsals will continue until the Spring Trip
 
Spring Trip, April 17-21.  The trip includes lodging, bus transportation, adjudication and performance fees, 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners, a 3-day park-hopper pass to Walt Disney World Parks, dining coupons for the parks and a dinner show experience.  Students will need to bring money for 1 dinner, 2 breakfasts, 4 lunches and money for shopping.  The cost is $680 dollars, payable in 5 payments of $136.  The fourth payment is due February 1 and the final payment is due March 1.  Checks should be payable to Hayfield Secondary School.  Note:  the cost of each student's trip will be adjusted with any fundraising credits that he/she accrues in his/her Booster organization account.  The credits are currently being assigned and the totals will be available 25 January.
