Hayfield Band Boosters (Message 5)--First Football Game This Week!

Greetings Boosters,

 

Last week was a great week!  The Pool Party was a blast.  Even the rain could not dampen the fun.  Friday's exhibition was simply outstanding.  The kids should be commended for their hard work over the last two weeks.  Finally, the Pot Luck was phenomenal.  It is hard to beat great food and fellowship!  

  

Thanks to all of the volunteers last week!  My apologies in advance if I missed anyone.

Thanks to all of you who signed the volunteer roster on Friday night. We are on our way to filling most of the slots for our activities through mid-September.

 

The first football game of the season is Friday night, August 31, at Hayfield.  Thanks to all of you who have signed up to support Friday night's game.  We still need a few more people for the Pit Crew and for Stands Setup.  If you are donating snacks or water, please send or bring them to the Band Room before 6:00 p.m.  Volunteers assisting with uniforms and the Pit Crew should plan on being at the Band Room by 6:00 p.m.

  

Other Near-term Volunteer Needs 

Uniform Maintenance.  If you can volunteer a couple of hours on Monday or Tuesday evening (between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.) to repair uniforms, please send me a note.  The repairs are primarily sewing on buttons. 

 

Hawk Flight.  I'mlooking for one person to man the Hayfield SS Band Booster's table during Hawk Flight on August 30, 0800-1030.  Our table will have information about the upcoming Fruit Sale as well as signup forms for becoming a Band Booster or patron.

 

Tag Day.  We still have openings to assist in tallying the donations from each of the Tag Days (September 8 and September 15).
