Greetings! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family & friends. If you're looking for a way to work off some of that extra weight from all the Thanksgiving trimmings & help the band, please see update e-mail from Linda Lichtman below regarding fruit delivery. Please reply to Linda & me with what volunteer effort you can help (note that these are currently the planned dates & time. If anything changes, we'll let you know as soon as possible):
1. 1 pm, Wed, Dec 7, unloading fruit from delivery truck into the school
2. After concert, Thur, Dec 8, distributing fruit to buyers/others
3. Both

Finally, our students REALLY NEED YOU! As most teenagers, they will NEVER admit this. Your VOLUNTEERISM is ESSENTIAL to THEIR SUCCESS!!! Additionally, they really do APPRECIATE seeing you @ their various events cheering for them. Hi Che,
I have a tentative delivery date of Wednesday, Dec 7th at 1:00 for the fruit. I won't know a definite date until it is shipped on the 4th and probably not a definite time until it arrives. The delivery could be delayed if it rains in Florida when the fruit is scheduled to be picked. Please request volunteers for the tentative date and time to help unload the truck. The more the merrier. Provided the fruit arrives by the next day, I'll also need volunteers after the concert on the 8th to help with distribution. Please ask the volunteers to email me their contact info with the best way to reach them during the day.
