Hello Hayfield Band!
The first week of marching band camp is already underway -- I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful summer and is having fun getting back into the swing of things for the upcoming school year!
I am so pleased to announce that Che Russell has offered to serve as the Band Booster President for the 2011-2012 school year. The band family is truly blessed to have Che volunteer for this position ... AGAIN! Many of you know Che, who served as president from 2007-2009. Please join me in welcoming Che to this 'encore' position ... AND thanking him for taking on this role. From my experience, the absolute best way to show our gratitude, is by helping out too. We always need parent volunteers to help support the kids and the band directors throughout the year, and I encourage everyone to jump in and volunteer .... it's one of the most fun and rewarding volunteer gigs you'll ever find in high school!

It's been such a pleasure to be involved with the band family for the past four years ... I thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm. I look forward to seeing everyone at football games and concerts in the coming year ... Go Hawks!!!
