Hello Band Boosters,
I guess when you miss a week or so of school in the middle of February, March really comes at you quickly! We've got the Spring Band Concert on Tuesday next week; and the Band Festival the following weekend.
Here's the information from the band web site:
Spring Concert: Tuesday, March 2 at 7pm (students will report earlier - time to be announced)

Rehearsal schedule for this week: (if we have school)
Tuesday, Feb.23, Jazz Band 2:30pm-3:30pm
3:30pm-6:30pm Drum Line
Wednesday, Feb.24, 6pm-8pm night rehersal for W. Ensemble
Thursday, Feb.25, Jazz Band 2:30pm-3:30pm
3:30pm-6:30pm Drum Line
Saturday, Feb. 27 - All state auditions at JMU
let's cheer on Katie Taylor, Lauren Citron and Justin Russell!!
If any parents (especially of Symphonic band students) would like to help us with the pizza and movie on March 5, please let me know.

Symphonic Band
Friday, March 53:00pm Report to band room for pizza, movies
5:00pm Dress, Depart for South
6:30pm Warm Up
7:30pm Perform
8:00pm Sight Read
8:30pm Await ratings, return home
9:15pm Return to Hayfield, Dismissed
Symphonic Band Students can be picked up from the event, but only by a family member.
Don't forget:
Black dress, tux, white shirt, bow tie, black shoes and socks, instrument, snack money,
and .... A superior attitude!

Saturday, March 6
11:00am Report to South Co.
11:40am Warm up
12:40pm Perform
1:20pm Sight Read
2:00pm Await scores, Dismissed
Wind Ensemble Students are expected to find rides to and from the event.
