Hi Band Boosters!
The band booster meeting originally scheduled for May 19 has been moved to next week, Thursday, May 26. I hope you'll plan on attending, as we wrap up Booster activities for this school year and plan for next year. Agenda includes: election of officers for next year; budget; new uniforms. If you have an item you'd like to add to the agenda, please email me at bandlsm@gmail.com.
We're looking for volunteers to help with on Graduation Day (See details below: We need parents of Freshmen, Sophomores or Juniors to help with this, since Senior parents will be busy with their graduating students.)
Mark your calendar for these end-of-year band events:
Wednesday, May 25 - Wind Ensemble plays at Orchestra Concert, 7pm
Thursday, May 26 - Band Booster Meeting in the band room, 7pm *New Date
Thursday, June 2 - Band Concert, 7pm
Tuesday, June 7, Tri-M Music Department Awards - pot luck
Thursday, June 16, Graduation 4:30pm Wind ensemble students, orchestra and chorus will stay after school; eat; and change for performance.
* VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to organize lunch for the students. Please let Lorraine know if you're available to organize, shop and/or help serve that afternoon. Thanks in advance!
