Five Days Until Band Camp!

Good afternoon, Marching Band Parents and Guardians –

 

Where has the summer gone?!  We have only FIVE days until the start of band camp, so I wanted to make sure you have what you need to start the season. 

 

Here’s the schedule for next week:

August 7 – 11:

Drumline (including Pit) – 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Color Guard – report at 4:00pm

Competition Band (including Drumline and Color Guard) – 5:00pm – 8:00pm

 

Make sure you bring your forms and fees on the first day if you haven't turned them in already. Forms and additional information, including the complete band camp schedule, can be found at http://www.hayfieldbands.com/marching-band.html and are also attached to this message. 

 

Don’t forget to sign up for band booster membership! We (and your kids) value your support.  Please sign up to be a Booster Member or Booster Patron today so that you can be in the loop of special events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities!

Band Payments for 2017-2018 school year

Parents,

Greetings!

The school is transitioning to a new system of accounting for the band program, and they ask to you all to not use SCHOOL PAY or CHARMS until after they close the books on FY2017, and the fee is set up in the new system. You are still welcome to send a check in to the school for the fee of $150 made payable to: HAYFIELD SECONDARY SCHOOL.

Band Notes - Summer Edition

We have a few announcements from the Band Boosters.....

We'd like to say welcome and congratulations to our new Booster president, Angie Tenne!!

We are still looking for volunteers to fill the role of Vice President and Secretary.  Attached are the new bylaws.  If you think you would be interested in either of these positions or any of the volunteer coordinator positions listed in the bylaws, please let us know!!

BAND NOTES--- New car wash date, Senior concert, and Available Booster positions

Good Morning Band Family!!

Our new car wash date is Saturday, June 10th, 9-3!!  We need lots of hands!  All proceeds will go toward the New Uniform Fund.  Sign up her:


SENIORS NEED TO SEND PICTURES FOR THE SLIDESHOW TO BE PLAYED AT THE JUNE 6TH CONCERT.  Send 3 pics, baby, elementary aged, and senior to me at Lori1715@gmail.com.

Several Booster positions will be available next year.  President, VP, Secretary will all be available.  We are also looking for committee leads, such as a Fundraising chair.  Please email me if you are interested!!  We are looking for a date for the last Booster Meeting of the year so stay tuned!!

Band Car Wash!!! Saturday, May 13th!! 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Band Car Wash!  All proceeds go toward the Uniform Drive!!  Saturday, May 13th, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.!  We need parents and students to volunteer!  We need hoses, sponges, car soap, towels and most importantly, YOU!!

We do realize that many students are involved with Les Miserables and cannot volunteer all day.  But even an hour will help!  This is the date the school gave the band and cannot be changed.

Senior/End of Year Concert - Pictures for slideshow

As you know, end of year is fast approaching! The final concert of the year is on Tuesday, June 6th.

This is a special night for our Seniors, as it is their last High School concert. To celebrate their achievements, we are looking for pictures of our Seniors to include in a slideshow to be played at the concert.

Seniors should send 3 pictures, - a baby picture, grade school age picture, and a senior picture.
