A few reminders:
Fundraiser. We have a fundraiser scheduled to e nsure that we have operating funds to begin the 2015-2016 school year. The date is Sunday, April 26, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. The restaurant is Chipotle, 5955 Kingstowne Towne Center Ste 160, Alexandria, VA 22315, (703) 924-6018. Please print the flyer and take it with you so that we can ensure that Hayfield is properly credited. If you forget the flyer, please tell the cashier that your order supports the Hayfield Band. Also, feel free to share the announcement with Chipotle fans and Hayfield supporters...we would really appreciate the help!
Spring Trip Meeting. There will be a MANDATORY trip meeting for you and your student on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:30pm in the Hayfield Auditorium. Students must bring their large bag for drop off. After the meeting, we need volunteers to assist the Music Department in screening and storing the bags. Please let me know if you can help. Last year it took less than 30 minutes to search and secure the bags.
Graduating Senior Pictures. It is our tradition to present photos of our graduating Seniors during the final concert of the year scheduled for June 1. Thanks to those who have already submitted pictures (they are adorable!). If you haven't submitted pictures, please provide 3 pictures of your senior--infant, mid years, and senior year for inclusion in the slide show. Send your digital images to Hawkbandbooster@aol.com by May 15. If you do not have digital images, please send me a note and we will arrange to have your photos digitized.
Suggestions for 2015-2016 Band year. If you have suggestions on how to improve Band Booster support for the upcoming school year, please send them to us at Hawkbandbooster@aol.com. We will discuss your inputs at our final Booster Meeting, May 14.
