Hayfield Band Boosters 2014-15 (Message 38): Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble; Zips Fundraiser, Thursday, March 12

Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble for an Excellent rating for the Concert Band Assessment on Saturday!  They are to be applauded for their hard work.

Reminder:  Our next fundraiser will be held on March 12, at the ZIPS Cleaners at 6216 North Kings Highway, Alexandria, Virginia.  ZIPS will be open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. to meet your dry cleaning and laundering needs. Garments can be cleaned for $1.99.  Zips also cleans heavy duty items like drapes, comforters, quilts, etc. at very good prices.  This an excellent fundraiser for the band and ensures that we have operating funds to begin the 2015-16 school year.  So please spread the word to family and friends. 

When you are at Zips, please let them know that you support the Hawks Band.  Zips has been a great partner for our Booster organization.

Hayfield Band Boosters 2014-15 (Message 37): Assessment Tomorrow, March 7, Edison High School

Please note that Assessment is still on for tomorrow, Saturday, Mar 7.  Please ensure that your student reports to Edison Auditorium Lobby 1:15 tomorrow.

The Virginia Tech performance has been moved to West Potomac High School, 6500 Quander Rd, Alexandria, VA, 22307.   The Day and time are still correct.

The practice will be in Alexandria at St Stephens St Agnes on Braddock Road from 2 to 4 in the afternoon. You are welcome to observe their practice.  There are Hayfield alumni in the band.  Please go out and cheer the band on if you are available.

Hayfield Band Boosters 2014-15 (Message 33): Concert Thursday Night; Concert CD Order Form; Tiny Tots Concert 

All,
The first concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 11.  The concert is being recorded on audio CD.  The attached form can be printed off, filled out, and brought with payment to the concert on Tuesday night or can be sent in to the address at the top of the form.  
The Tiny Tots concert will be held in the auditorium on December 12.  The Wind Ensemble will entertain area children with seasonal songs & a few characters may visit.  Concert start time is 9:30 a.m.  Thanks in advance to those who signed up to help with the concert.   Please check in at the office  before proceeding to the Band Room.
Best of luck to all of the students participating in All District Auditions on Saturday!
