All,

I'm making a last plea for volunteers to drive tomorrow for Tag Day.  We have enough kids to fill 10 cars.  We presently have 7 drivers.  I need 3 additional drivers to ensure all of the kids can participate.  It will be a short day.  The teams will return to the school between 12 noon and 1 p.m.   If you have any flexibility in your schedule for tomorrow, please go to Signup Genius and let us know if you can help.

Hayfield Band Boosters 2014-15 (Message 10): Football Game Friday, Sep 12; Tag Day #2, Sep 13

Boosters,

I have one word to describe your volunteer spirit this week...AWESOME!  Your efforts for the football game on Friday night & Tag Day #1 on Saturday were much appreciated.  Although the kids will probably never say it, I know that they too appreciated your support and encouragement.  
I can't say enough about Tag Day.  First and foremost, thanks to our students who cheerfully canvassed the neighborhoods in spite of the heat.  Many thanks to our Tag Day Chairs--Ellen Hishta and Theresa Larsen.  Your hard work in organizing the event, preparing the maps & envelopes, and preparing the drivers really paid off.  We collected $6783.78 on Saturday!

Football Game

Upcoming Week
Football Game.  Our second home game is scheduled for Friday, September 12.  We will be playing Westfield HS.  The Drumline and Pit Sections are assigned volunteer duties for the game.  Most of the slots are filled.  However, we still need volunteers to move equipment, set up the stands and to distribute uniforms before the game.   
If you signed up to donate snacks for the game, please ensure that you provide items that are individually wrapped.  Additionally, please ensure that your donated items are in the uniform closet by 6:00 p.m.

Tag Day.  Tag Day #2 is scheduled for Saturday.   Please encourage your student to sign up.  There is a sign up board in the band room.  We still have many neighborhoods to visit.  We also have several open slots for drivers.  Please go to Signup Genius and let us know if you can help.  Tag Day #2 is typically a shorter day with most finishing their neighborhoods by 1230.
